I tend to see everything I make as a conversation with other artists and writers who I identify with. Like they have created work to say ‘I feel like this’ and I am responding with ‘yes I feel that too’ or ‘no I see it more like this’.

In that way my work is like a frankenstein amalgamation of all the things I have ever read or seen and engaged with.

That might be one reason why its been so important for me to lay out everything that has been feeding into my work recently.

I am saying but adding too what others have said.
