I think the surprising thing about Sylvia Plath is that, for someone who felt she was a misfit, and was born in a different world and time to me, she is extremely relatable. He joy and passion and bravery and creativity. It is so sad that the way of the world, its systems and requirements ate at her so much. Once again, as with the Virginia Woolf book, I have underlined the parts that most sparked interest in me or that I most related to. I tried not to put that much in about no talent Hughes. I think he is a just a blip to be forgotten in time. One of those mistakes of humanity. The book is Red Comet by Heather Clark. I have read other books on Plath and this is by far the one without bias and the most in depth.
