Salford art gallery had an exhibition on the work coming out of Islington mill. It was amazing.

These were the tings that most stood out to me as they relate to my practice.

These were sheer fabrics that were hung in layers and printed on, I loved the building of the story and the history and the hidden details and the addition of embroidery.

These were by far my favorite, the sexually explicit, the body only with no identity, the colour, the play with shapes and textures and ares, the kitsch, the granny fabrics, the varies techniques. They were so fun.

These were also amazing, scary and cute and dangerous.

I literally just found tapestry crochet and trying to learn how to do it and then I saw these. I am feeling a little jealous and left behind. Still I loved their messages.
